WebJust wanted to check in if you would be concerned with the level of flex I see on this TV mount. We had it at our old place in like 2024, it was hanging a 55" for a couple years. We bought a house and this mount is apparently rated for 55-70" TV's and 135lbs (this one is 75lbs, TCL 6 series). WebUPDATE: Both of the options in your update would be fine. As long as you hit two studs, with the center of the mount between the studs, it will be solid. If you want it right on center, you could put two lags through the center of the mount into the center stud, and a pair of Snaptoggles into the drywall on either side.

The mount takes five fasteners (3 in one stud, 2 in the next). From what I've read the bolts should go 1.25" - 1.5" into the stud so I was thinking I would use 2.5" long, 5/16" diameter lag bolts.
